Vietnam Airlines, Domededovo airport strengthen cooperation

Vietnam Airline’s representative agency in Russia held a press conference to announce the increase in the number of flights to Domodedovo airport (Moscow) this winter and also to outline the results of cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and Domodedovo airport in 2010.
At the conference, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Bui Dinh Dinh highlighted the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Russia which has laid a solid foundation for comprehensive cooperation between the two agencies. The ambassador also pointed out shortcomings in services of Domodedovo airport and expressed hope that leaders of the
airport will overcome the limitations soon, facilitating travel of passengers on flights from Vietnam’s cities to Moscow.
Director of the Domodedovo Airport Viacheslav Nekrasov also spoke highly of cooperative results between the two agencies recently and acknowledged limitations in service and customer-care. He is committed to creating the best conditions for passengers and improving the image of Domodedovo airport.
As of November 1, 2010, Vietnam Airlines has increased the frequency of flights from Moscow to HCM City to three per week on Monday, Thursday and Sunday while the Moscow-
Hanoi air route continued to operate two flights per week on Wednesday and Saturday.
Vietnam Airlines will increase flights from Moscow to Vietnam to seven per week by 2011.
